Entry 6 Fifth Location
The fifth place I am visiting is the Wu gorge. The country that it is in is China. The capital of China is Beijing. The countries that border China is Mongolia, Russia, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The bodies of water that border China is The East China sea, The Yellow sea, The gulf of Tonkin and the South China sea. The GPS coordinates are 30 and 109. The climate is T he average annual temperature in The Gorge is 18.4 degree Celsius, and in the coldest month, January, the average temperature is 7.1 degree Celsius, while the mean temperature in July, the hottest month all around the year, is 29.3 degree Celsius. The annual average rainfall is about 1400 mm in Three Gorges area, and more is centralized in July and August. The climatic feature in The Gorge area is mildness in winter, hotness in summer, abundance of rainfall, distinctions of four seasons. It is not much different from the Sichuan Basin, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. However, because of deep valleys, thus the sunshine time is short. In winter the sunshine available is just 2 or 3 hours before and after noon, and only 5 or 6 hours in summer The Wu gorge looks like a hole in the ground with valleys and rivers going through it. The history of the Wu gorge is that it is the most beautiful section of the Yangtze River. History of the Wu gorge is that they have 12 peaks and it is 25 miles long. This location is important to me because my family went their when I was younger and I liked it a lot so I want to go see it to see how its changed. The Wu gorge is 4,024.08 miles away from the Granite gorge in Australia. I am going to fly to the Wu gorge. It will cost me $995.00 to get form Australia to China. I had no problem in my flight. The biggest difference is that the Wu gorge had way more grass and water then the Granite gorge
